The next villain the Avengers have to band together and face in the MCU could well be the Hulk, according to a very convincing fan theory. Over the course of the past decade, Marvel's toughest heroes have had to face some of the most dastardly villains the MCU has to offer.

As individuals, various teams, and the Avengers. However, the hardest villain of all to thwart was Thanos. More than 20 movies and multiple threads led to all of the MCU 's heroes banding together to finally bring him down in Endgame.

Not only did it take everything the Avengers had to offer to take down the Mad Titan, but they lost a couple of team members in the process. Black Widow and Iron Man. Yes, Captain America has walked off into the sunset too, but Thanos can't really be held accountable for that.

the big question is, who can possibly pose a bigger threat to the Avengers than Thanos for the superhero team's fifth movie?

Well, there is every possibility that the next problem the Avengers have to team up to take down comes from within their own ranks. Redditor smileimhigh has reason to believe Hulk will turn on his hero friends, and their theory makes a lot of sense.

The Endgame snap fans left theaters thinking about was Tony Stark's, but that wasn't the snap which brought everyone back. Yes read that again and again....

Earlier in the movie, Hulk wielded the Stark-made Infinity Gauntlet and brought back everyone who had disappeared five minutes earlier. Not only that, but he did so without dying right after.

There are different, more powerful version of Hulk yet to come should Marvel Studios pull inspiration from the comic books, and it could spell big trouble for the rest of the Avengers..
