Finally watching the 24x36 documentary and listening to Mitch Putnam talk around the fact that I built Mondo into what it was when he rolled into the place 4 years after built that poster series into what it was in 2009- it just blows my fucking mind at what a cunt he is.

Doc is pretty great, but I'm shocked at the fact that they've gone out of their way to hire almost exclusively white men to do all their poster jobs throughout their entire existence. I've hired more women for one poster tour series than they have in their WHOLE HISTORY.

I remember getting laughed at when I made the suggestion we should hire women artists to do posters for films targeted at women back when I was the manager/ art director.
They haven't changed in the decade plus since I left.

Because I'm also a working artists- & all artists talk to each other- I know that they have actively suppressed and gaslit women artists over the years. It's some real shit.
I've not always been on top of making sure I have a diverse pool of talent- but I've tried to correct that
