Yesterday, I went to deliver a Strategy training to Managers & Leads at a Media Group. I told the security I was going to the training room. He took me to reception & said “This young boy said he came for training, I don’t know who is training him so I brought him”. Short thread
He did all these and I kept saying “Thank you sir”, “Good bye Sir”. Maybe he later saw his HR Director and his other ogas coming in & out of the training & probably figured out I was delivering it. I don’t know. But he later came to me to say “Oga, hope you dey enjoy our office”
“You need anything?”. There was obvious discomfort & unnecessary famzing. I Gave him a tip later & I took home a lesson. You don’t know who anyone is or what they are out to do. Be courteous always, especially when at work & if you are visitor or client facing to avoid shalaye.
