Corona Thread: Recently had a brush with corona, when all 3 members in our neighbors family were tested positive at CMPDIL, Ranchi. We also got tested alongwith total 30 odd people who were primary and secondary contacts at a private facility. Thank god all are negative
All paid for their tests. We also contributed and got the two direct contact domestic helps tested too. They are also negative. There is massive sanitisation drive at our office and residential campus on our company’s expense
What is surprising is the absence of district administration in all this. Despite prompt reporting to authorities, there was no contact tracing, no testing efforts, no sanitisation drive. We as officers remained calm. But there is so much chaos and fear in adjoining Hatma basti.
There was no effort to reach out to them, educate them, assure them, test them. Even those who went to RIMS were turned back citing they are asymptotic! Sad state of affairs @jharkhand181 @DC_Ranchi @JharkhandCMO @WeAreRanchi
