Knowledge activates the power of the Word

This is the reason why as a Christian you need the Word in you richly!

Some Christians don't know the importance of knowledge that's why some live a defeated lives

God said "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." (Hosea 4:6).

Sad as this may sound, it's true nonetheless! God's people suffer in life, not because they don't pray enough or love God enough, but because they lack accurate and adequate knowledge of the Word.

Reiterating this, the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 22:29, "...Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures...."

When people lack accurate and relevant spiritual information from God's Word, they experience defeat and failure.

This isn't because they're "weak" Christians or because God couldn't deliver them; it's just the plain and inevitable result of ignorance.

Psalm 82:5-7 is so touching; it describes the debacle and despondency of the one who's ignorant of his heritage and identity in Christ.

It says, "They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes." Pathetic!

Now you can better understand why in the lives of some people, things aren't just happening the way they should; they're putting in all the efforts they could, yet nothing productive is coming out. What's the problem? Ignorance: they know not, neither do they understand;

They walk on in darkness, destroyed by sickness and plummeted by the harsh elements of this world. Is this the lot for the Christian? Emphatically no!

The Bible declares, "...but through knowledge shall the just be delivered" (Proverbs 11:9).

If you have knowledge, there'll be a difference in your life. The knowledge of God's Word will build you up, and deliver your God-given inheritance into your hands (Acts 20:32). If you've been wondering why your experiences haven't been as victorious as the Word describes,

You need to spend more time studying and meditating on the Word.

Build your faith with the Word of God, for faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17).

As the Word comes to you, don't just agree by way of mental assent, respond by confessing the same things.

Just like John 8:32 says "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free "

Spiritual truths are activated by knowledge. 2 Peter 1:3 says, “…his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,

Through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

Proverbs 11:9 says through knowledge—revelation knowledge—shall the just be delivered.

As you study and meditate on the Word, not only will you discover your inheritance in Christ,

You’ll also receive the faith to relate with and enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. The Word is truth, and it has the capacity and ability to make you a success, build you up like a solid edifice, and keep you in health.

It doesn’t matter who you are, or how severe or hopeless you might think the case is, nothing is impossible to the one who lives by the truth of God’s Word. Life is an unending stream of blessings, excitement, success, and victories for the one who.......

Understands and applies the principles of God’s Word. The Word is able to change your life and to change you completely from failure to success. However, you must know the Word. If you don’t know the Word, you can’t work the Word.

That’s why we teach the truth of God’s Word, because when we talk about the blessings that belong to us in Christ & people become aware of the blessings, they’ll start walking in the blessings. Through knowledge, they’re able to appropriate the blessings in their personal lives.

For example, many people know about healing, but most haven’t been taught how to walk in divine health; so when we preach divine health, they hear about it and get to know that divine health is theirs.

That knowledge will impart faith to their spirits and activate the power of the Word in their lives to walk in divine health.

Now you see how important knowledge is to the Christian!
