(1) Watching SOME movies of books I& #39;ve read had given me nothing but a destroyed imagination.
Don& #39;t get me wrong I liked Nicholas Sparks& #39; BTIM but it& #39;s not that satisfactory for me.

(2) Alteration of story
The original story is changed into something very different from the book. I noticed that in some MTIB. This prevents the non-readers from knowing the author& #39;s original work.

(3) Movies invalidates mental freedom
Imagination is used when reading a book. When you visualize the scene, character& #39;s appearance, the way they move and so on. Our imagination has no limit. It lets us see what we read....even if it& #39;s beyond reality.

(3.1) BTIM makes us indolent or lazy in visualizing the scenes that the author constructed.
It ruins the literacy ability of readers when they try to read the book again after they watch the movie.......why?

(3.2) Because while they are reading the book, images from the movie are already in their head so therefore....... they won& #39;t be able to surface their own imagination.
(3.3) When you read a book you have your own mental freedom. Your mind will adapt things on how you want to visualize scenes regardless of how difficult the author narrates the story.
(4) Personal Interpretation no more
Perhaps we can all agree that books should remain as books because they were made to be interpreted differently.

(5) Characters Adaptation
In books the characters go through intense description so chapter by chapter you& #39;re getting hooked asf. The appearance , the way they move, their characteristics, even their mannerisms and how they think. Even antagonists are admired lol.

(5.1) It& #39;s disappointing when the characters from the BTIM are way different than how we picture them or how the author describes them.
For sure mga iba jan may kilalang character sa book na ibang iba yung itsura (sa movie) sa description ni otor.

When we read books our reading ability is being enhanced. Furthermore they encourage us to dream freely with no limits unlike movies that limits our imagination.

(6.1) Movies do the imagining part for us and trust me, we do it better.

Don& #39;t get me wrong ha. I love movies. What I am talking about is BTIM.
Some BTIM are good like the hunger games, harry potter and etc. Pero my point is stated above and that& #39;s my stand.
