Staphylococcus is not sexually transmitted

Don't let them deceive you
There are different types of Staphylococcus, but today we'll talk about Staphylococcus Aureus

They are found as normal tenants in your nose, throat, skin and even in your intestines,

You can also find them on phones, door knobs, remotes, elevator buttons
But the charlatans around have led people to believe that "Staf Erus" is an STD, and that it can cause infertility and I've witnessed some relationships break up because one party believes the other gave them Staphylococcus!

Fa fa fa... Fao!
The commonest Staphylococcus infections are boils, yes boils, even those armpit ones

Other serious ones:
Heart infections
Bone infections
Pneumonia or lung infections
Bloodstream infections: especially when a cannula has been left in place for a long time especially in hospitals
Some strains of Staphylococcus have developed resistance, why?

Emeka and Fatima just walk to the drug store and take antibiotics when it's not needed, these antibiotics kill some and leave some, the ones left behind now become more difficult to treat.

Yawa have gas!
So what is an STD?

If it can be spread through sexual: vaginal intercourse, oral sex, anal sex or sometimes intimate skin-to-skin contact.

Some STDs include Trichomoniasis, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, HPV and HIV.
To help prevent spread of Staphylococcus,

Wash your hands often with soap and water
Use a hand sanitizer
If you have a boil, it is best you don't handle food

If you use a tampon, don't leave it for long periods, the bacteria can release some toxins that may get into the blood
