1. Almost single-handedly caused the entire mobage industry to not only disclose gacha rates, but also include the Spark system (where after a certain amount of pulls, you can trade for a featured character in a banner) because someone splurged so much for Andira

2. That Tokyo Game Show 6.5k (!!!) participant raid boss against Inchoate World

3. Granblue Fantasy has its fair share of amazing merch, including a Gisla (pictured below) body pillow and an actual mask of Tetsuya Fukuhara, the current producer of Granblue Fantasy.

This also marks the start of the insane GBF April Fools campaigns!

5. GBF April Fools 2017 (and onwards - has become a yearly GBF event): Big Bad Shadow. Featuring a crossover with the gag 4koma, Grand Blues. Adds new skins, including the legendary Bloody Blood Stabby Man, Sir Chainedalot, and Cagliosled.

6. GBF April Fools 2018: A Taiko no Tatsujin parody app called Oira, only open for that day. No I am not kidding.

7. GBF April Fools 2019: That race to clear a set of puzzles to get 10k Crystals (for the first few players to do so), only for CyGames to pull an Uno Reverse Card and give EVERYONE the 10k Crystals.

8. Guild Wars (GW), the PVP event, has been the source of some of the weirdest shit, including:
-GW punch cards for daily Honors.
-That dude who got a pole stuck up his ass, literally.
-That dude who broke into other people's wifi while on the run, just to farm GW.

9. When the servers broke when Summer Jeanne D'Arc dropped and everyone rushed to pull her.

10. When the servers broke AGAIN when Summer Yuel dropped. I think this was also the time Lucifer became Sparkable, so DOUBLE the server death

11. When the servers broke YET AGAIN during the GW right after the Primal Resonance event that took place in the GW island, leading to every single player praising and worshipping Geo.

12. When the servers broke ONCE AGAIN during the last day of Free Draw Roulette, where everyone is guaranteed 100 free draws. Luckily, this hasn't happened again...for now.

13. The GBF livestreams have always been a source of laughs as the seiyuu do some of the weirdest shit, including:
-TakuEgu stealing "gold bricks" in his Vyrn backpack (2018).
-Perfume sniffing games.
-The seiyuu nearly killing FKHR and KMR with their smoothies.
And much more.

14. Speaking of GBF livestreams, how every single GBF player bands together to:
-Livetweet and spam about the stream.
-Beg for Gold Bricks.
-Marvel at player statistics.
-Create memes about the games.
-RT for viewer milestone rewards.
It's our yearly tradition at this point.

15. That time not long after the Lucilius raids dropped, a TON of endgame GBF players banded together to datamine and beat the boss. With triggers like this...

16. GBF summer events are usually fun, ridiculous events, but nothing has beaten the sheer absurdity that is The Maydays, which is best described as GBF Jaws and Sharknado, spawning memes such as Poopie I Am. With bosses like this...

17. Siete and Lobelia smugfaces + Belial ahegao edits. That is all.

18. The GBF wiki staff has their own fun during April Fools, turning the entire wiki into a meme fest (some spoileriffic though) that players, again, often tweet about. Expect GBF Twitter to explode every April 1st, basically.

19. A bit of a heartwarming thing - how most players (on Twitter, at least) are super supportive of people with the insane records (i.e. an entire page of Gislas, getting the Blue Eternal skin, etc).

20. When Kolulu, a character wielding Gisla, first dropped and OnoYuu, a known Dark main and Gisla fan, pulled her, and tweeted...this...

21. Not only did this ALSO happen in GW season, this is an actual skin in Granblue Fantasy for the main character. A bird.

22. When someone edited the "I'M AT SOUP" part in Code Ment but using the GBF story format, upon the heels of the Code Geass collab. I can't find the original tweet but,,, yeah, it happened.

25. When, in GranblueFes 2019, Sandalphon snatched all of our collective wigs with this live performance of Ain Soph Aur, leading to edits of Sandalphon winning music shows, a Sandalphon fancam, and every single GBF player crying.

26. That sudden wave of fanart of characters in leotards, because a Grand Blues 4koma noted that the female primarchs all wear leotards as their "uniform". This usually involves Lucilius in some way.

This will be an ever-growing thread bc let's be real - we're all clowns in Granblue Fantasy, and something is BOUND to happen sooner or later.

33. Granblue Fantasy itself never really enters the trending tab...unless there's a hashtag trending campaign. Expect the hashtag to rise into top worldwide trends in a matter of minutes because we are all thirsty for gacha/spark funds.

34. CyGames loves clowning us with the Grand Blues 4koma "spoilers" for upcoming units. Sometimes they're accurate (Olivia), sometimes not quite (Orchid was in the 4koma during summer -> Summer Orchid, the character released is Pholia, who has a similar mechanic).

35. Similar to the Monkeygate Man, we have the $3k Belial Man back when Belial's summon first dropped on Dec 31, 2019. He was only sparkable ON THAT BANNER, too.

36. The sheer upscaling of the NY, Anniversary, and Summer free draw and freebie campaigns - from free 10-draws, to a ROULETTE of free draws (up to 100/day), to GACHAPIN FRENZY (draw until you get an SSR), to MUKKU FRENZY (Gachapin w/higher rates), to SUPER MUKKU FRENZY

(Mukku Frenzy at the last day of anniversary roulette, but you draw until you get at least 5 SSRs total), to DAILY SCRATCH CARDS (which honestly was a scam for most players but there were some goodies) for Anniversary.
NY was tame for the most part, only including Gachapin

Frenzy, JanKenPon for a chance to double your pulls, and max 200 pulls per day.
Both Roulettes had a guaranteed 100-pull on the last day.
Meanwhile Summer upgraded from daily 10-draws to 10-draws + additional random freebie, INCLUDING RL PRIZES (for JP residents).

37. The Many Lives of Cats event, which stars...an actual cat. No, I am not kidding.
The cat joins your crew as a playable character.
Yes, the cat is voiced by Daiki Yamashita (Ritsu Sakuma from EnStars).

38. Just...just the mess that was the Arcana character wait, aka the Evokers.
Following that, the utter grind required for the Evokers.
Aah, how far away the ideal world, indeed...

39. April 2020 Water Guild Wars in general was a huge mess. Tiers exploded and cutoffs practically TRIPLED, all because it happened during quarantine. I'm surprised the servers didn't crash with the amount of people playing and grinding.

40. Gran slam-dunking a bomb into a Clay Golem in S1 of the anime never gets old. Whoever suggested this as a scene deserves a raise.

41. When Lucifer was first sparkable, not only did the servers BREAK, Lucifer ended up on the trending tab, causing a lot of concern from Christians and utter confusion when, the moment they opened the tag, it was all of the white-haired anime man we know as Lucifer.

42. That one time where we had over a month of MagnaFests back-to-back.

43. GBF Nehan and Arknights SilverAsh comparisons. And for good reason, too.

44. The GBF metagame has evolved and strengthened so rapidly, people are casually pubbing The Four Primarchs, Proto Baha HL, Grande HL, and Akasha HL raids.

45. People sending GBF Valentine's choco to some of the most unexpected characters, including SUMMONS, the staff, and THE YOUNG CAT.
What's amazing is that they ALL HAVE ART, A SIGNATURE, AND A MESSAGE FROM THEM, NO MATTER HOW OBSCURE OR WEIRD THE TARGETTED CHARACTER WAS.

46. In fact, all the money from the people who gave Valentines choco to the Young Cat is donated to a cat shelter!
In addition to that, the Young Cat is also given cat-friendly treats instead of chocolate!

47. The moment CyGames decided to remove the gender restrictions for Valentine's and White Day's special cutscenes, the entire fandom erupted in joy.

48. Just...just the entire sequence of event SR Lancelot's special messages, whether it be for birthdays, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's, or White Day. Someone save this man from captivity.
His last birthday message implies that he's freed at last, but still...

49. People going wild trying to guess the Evokers' Arcanas and characters. One notable thing we got correct was (SPOILERS) Nier, the Lovers celestially-bound to Death, being an utter yandere.

50. Honestly the existence of the Fundoshi Trio deserve a thread all on their own. They're amazing. And Drum Master's CB song changing to Sanbagarasu Otoko Uta? Legendary.

51. Just...the existence of the Grand Blues 4koma. It's a meme fest, never really takes the game seriously, and a huge source of laughter. And it's only gotten wackier the more time has passed.

52. Perpetuity Rings = marriage. Cue an entire wave of fanarts related to people getting married with their faves.

53. Also I may be wrong but wasn't there a couple that got married that was related to Granblue?

55. Also an awesome moment - the fact that Granblue has become so well-known worldwide, FKHR and KMR have both gone on record to say that they meet a lot of GBF players that recognize them when they go overseas!

56. Remember when GW Betting Cards exist? And how there were always people trying to predict point gains AND there was always this one dude that ended up getting enough Crystals for a full-blown Spark somehow? Yeah...I miss those days.

57. GBF players have gone on record/joked that they'll be buying the DVDs/GBF VS/etc. only for the in-game serial codes and freebies.

58. I haven't started playing by then but I've Heard Stories of the buggy messes that the original Arcarum game mode and Defense Order were,,, anyways can we get the Defense Order skin to come back plz

59. The 0-cost treasure campaign in general was a stupidly amazing way to get people to grind...especially with the freebies based on the amount of times the entire playerbase hosted the affected raids.

60. Wasn't there also a time where there was a rumor going around that Katalina going to be in Smash (not true, btw)?

61. During a livestream, the devs disclosed approximately how much bait chunks we all collectively farmed during GW, and everyone in the stream + the entire playerbase concluded that we can end world hunger with the amount of chunks we farmed. Good times.

62. Just...just how utterly UNEXPECTED that Gachapin and Mukku collab event was. And Gachapin's skillset...100% cut, really?
