ah the infamous picture that for some reason some of you don’t realize is v whitewashed. the left is a photo taken by professionals, i beleive for a magazine, the left is a photo taken by pw himself in natural lighting, with no editing. +

i did some comparing, first with the teen titans go episode to see how people with complete freedom of color for skintones interperated pete. he is WAY paper than literally any part of his body irl. he’s literally the same shade as patrick. +

then i made these. comparisons between the most obvious example and photos taken by pete in the most natural lighting possible. the photos on the right of each are unedited. +

back to the teen titans thing. here’s a comparison between pete and patricks base skin tone in natural unedited lighted, compared to patrick vs the whitewashed pic. PATRICK IS LITERALLY DARKER THAN PETE IN THE OTHER ONE. which obvi he isn’t irl.

also this thread isn’t very extensive i know but i wanted to boil it down to the most basic form of proof.
