Many senior citizen live alone and their kids are far away / abroad.

During lockdown , neighbours, society members are helping seniors in whatever way they can.

Some committees are making exception to allow housemaids and other help for seniors.

Children of these seniors need to remember to have some social connect with their parents neighbours.

You may be settled in most affluent countries and have cleanest air, roads and excellent medical care wherever you are.

Your aging parents are being looked after by strangers here.

Have some sense to climb down from your high horse and meet a few neighbours,

committee members next time you are in India.

Do it at least for selfish reasons.

And I also hope that seniors value local help to some extent.

We know what "abroad" is like and live in India by choice.
