I had a great conversation today with one of my Lead CIRT team members about how to inspire some of our newer Analysts and give them confidence. I suggested that I tell them stories about all the dumb things I did when I was first starting out. (1/4)
I'd like to incorporate other people's stories too, so tell me about something dumb you did when you first got into tech, or something dumb you did last week, and if possible a happy ending or lesson learned. (2/4)
Like when I needed to duplicate a drive not using a forensic imager and overwrote the data drive with the blank disk...Everyone makes mistakes, it is how you recover and learn that is key.(3/4)
