regarding this, it's a much more sensible thing to do when you vote for inception and you all should vote for inception. if it wins in the votes, it's going to be more actively promoted by the company itself and overall, based on what i have seen and heard, https://twitter.com/ATEEZofficial/status/1283778448800886784
k-atinys lean more towards inception, and this can be used to somewhat guess that songs with concepts like inception would do much better and could potentially give them a well-deserved win. moreover, if inception is promoted at the main,
there would ultimately be less hate as they are not promoting a song with the addition of a mv that has ca: the hair. and overall, it would be better and the hate would be less than if thanxx were to have its mv released by kq.
inception also goes along with the ateez storyline, so it won't get messed up this time much like last time with the selection of wave over illusion. so, although you have a right to choose whatever you want, in this situation you need to be sensible-
-and vote for inception, instead of being obstinate and insisting to vote for thanxx because it's more to your taste. the outcome of the release of thanxx would he disastrous not only within the fandom, but also outside. kpop stan twt is toxic and quick to hate, you should know.
while everything i said above is what i stand by, atinys shouldn't be forcing kq to not release the mv or to reprint everything, keeping the company's state in mind.
the cost would be ridiculously expensive. kq is already relatively broke with how well they're promoting ateez in comparison to other groups - they have a broken ceiling they can't fix because they're putting promotions over their building management.
how can kq entertainment possibly afford to reprint everything and reshoot the mv or even edit out something as intricate as hair from the mv. if there was a small number of scenes with the ca, i'm sure they would have done something but i'm sure there's more.
many are requesting they edit the hair out from the digital promotional images and although i agree they should have, i saw a tweet explaining the kq would need to ask the company tha produced the images to edit it again which would cost them again.
when images are being dealt between two companies or more, there are exclusive contracts regarding its use and we don't know what goes behind the scenes, so the contract may prevent the company from editing anything on it as it is not necessarily their own work.
therefore regardless of how cheap the software and how easily you can fix the issue, the problem would be whether they're legally bound by an agreement that prevents them from doing so or not.
if the thanxx mv were to remain unreleased, the capital placed within it would be gone to waste and there would be more expenditure than income, risking certain services or items in the company to be limited or held back.
if both mvs were released, a certain amount of income would be generated from both with the ads whether it be less or more and it would still give them something to work with, instead of risking a major loss and potential debt.
some have been saying that purchasing their albums generates income for them and they can use it to fix it but they receive what is left after packaging costs, album production costs and royalties have been paid. surely it's not enough to fulfil everyone's request.
although only the release of inception would be the best outcome, the release of thanxx is inevitable and i think everyone should focus on emailing kq to put a disclaimer in the beginning of the music video instead. and if you feel uncomfortable with the mv,
it is not an obligation to watch it. i stress very much on the financial situation of kq entertainment because debt is a horrible thing and “some debt” can sabotage everything and everyone within the company. atz may end up getting mistreated and-
-potentially disband if so much loss occurs. groups disbanding because a company could no longer fund their activities is not a foreign topic.
atz aren't the only group whose hair stylist(s) did them dirty. other groups do ca too but their companies either don't apologise or do and don't bother to try and do an extended research on why their ca was ca and why it was wrong.
the staff or close contacts of kq responded within a few hours and kq ent released a statement before 24 hours and stated that they will be doing research and educate themselves which is so much more than what others do or even bother with.
they also said they would not be doing the hairstyle on hj for promotions and stated that they would sadly be unable to change anything more as everything has been set and done.
they're shining light on the ca and i think they can use their opportunity to not only educate themselves but others too and that is also why a disclaimer before the release of the mv is necessary because they're most likely going to release it.
if kq can fix it, they fixed it and it's amazing but in the current situation, i highly doubt they would be able to afford much change at all. so with that, instead of taking this as kq doing the bare minimum, take this as an opportunity for kq for growth and acknowledgement.
truly, if kq were to put a disclaimer and provide some information on why they were wrong in this situation (and of course, never do ca again), it would also set a standard for other companies and groups to follow and there would truly be no more excuses.
