1. The study is about *SOME* types of mobility device users. Specifically power wheelchair and mobility scooters. Not in this study are manual wheelchair users, rollator users, cane users, crutch users...
2. Stop trying to assert yourself over actual disabled people. https://twitter.com/modacitylife/status/1283726461871022080
3. The study's name is...revealing. "Urban 'Dis'ability"
4. Those paths of paving stones in the photos would cause me a lot of pain.
5. At some point people need to get on the sidewalk to go into stores, bathrooms, etc. FIX THOSE.
6. The study literally names inaccessibility of sidewalks as reason:
"The reasons for their use were similar to the reasons for cyclists generally preferring cycle paths: smooth surfaces, free of pedestrians and fixed obstructions, and a greater feeling of safety"
So what? Screw manual wheelchair users. To hell with cane and rollator users. Why bother addressing the barriers when you can *USE* disabled people for YOUR cause.

You keep making it worse cycling dudes and urbanists. Stop talking. Start listening.
