One time I booked a hotel room for a few employees driving through Oregon. The hotel staff told me that the guests would need to provide an id showing they lived more than 25 miles from the hotel since the county had laws against "hanky-panky".
That's fine and just quaint American charm but the country is pretty much a free fire zone when it comes to ludicrous travel spreading coronavirus.
People, like my fucking parents, say well everyone's making their choices and you can't judge us for our(ridiculous travel plans). We should all be clear, these are life long judgements.
After the very last person on Earth has had their covid19 vaccine (hopefully that happens), we should all remember everyones choices to travel and not just fucking buckle down right now.
Keep a fucking list of these people who can't be counted on.
It won't matter, because ideally this will never come up again but I don't know nobody is asking anyone to fight and die a world away just like, I dunno, limit yourself and it's impossible here
I just like you hear these people say things like well I've been good or I need to get out of the house or some other thing like that and I just dont know what to
is it yes you have been but everyone has been and this sort of behavior spreads it or is it no you live in a palace compared to many people how dare you or neither or both
or am I wrong and these things are fine? Maybe that too. A bunch of masked people travelling interstate and eating outside isn't people crammed into an inside bar. I don't know that second group and can't yell at them.
I dunno I sort of want to delete this thread for how judgemental it seems but also these decisions everyone's making are massively more deadly to Americans than any terrorist group
I remember it seeming like a whole bit of a the social contract was rewritten after 9/11 and it's absolutely insane to me it seems like nothing like that is happening
