White women who are committed to ending patriarchy so long as it doesn’t mean ending white supremacy, and holding their white sons accountable aren’t committed to ending oppression at all. What they are is hungry for power.

White women who want equality w/white men, but also want impunity and absolution for white men, are just hoping to get impunity and absolution themselves.

They want to be protected by systems like white men are. Even when it means oppressing other women, oppressing BIPOC, oppressing anybody that’s not them and their sons.

If we want to end oppression, we make a commitment to end all oppressive systems, hold oppressors accountable, and look at our own selves in the mirror long and hard. Otherwise, what we’ll end up w/is just a new brand of oppression, w/ a different privileged group at the top.
