@BestBuy @BestBuySupport your customer support is a complete joke. ordered an ipad on 7/3, was told it was shipped on 7/4 and would arrive on 7/9. it didnt arrive so on monday i messaged support and was not given any answers except “we will rush ship it and update when we can” -
suddenly my order tracking page said it was shipped on 7/7 and was pending delivery. today it is a week late so i messaged support again and was told that it was supposed to be delivered on the 14 (which i was never told about) and mustve have been LOST IN THE MAIL -
so after work i called support and was put on a 36 min hold. just now i finally got a call back and was told that there arent any ipads available to send as a replacement so i have no choice but to accept a refund, she said the shipping company has my ipad and i asked if she -
could reach out to them to see if they can still ship it or if it was really lost, so she asked me to stay on the line and then the line HUNG UP. i waited almost 40 minutes for this call. this is ridiculous, why am i the customer doing the heavy lifting and BEGGING for updates
on my order that i spent almost a thousand dollars on? why wasnt /I/ reached out to and informed my package was lost. why wasnt i even given a new estimated delivery date after i reached out specifically asking for one? why cant your support team inform your customers properly
and why cant i be put on a waitlist for when new ipads ARE available for delivery? this is complete bs, ive wasted 2 weeks for an item that yall apparently dont even have in stock and have had to jump through loops just to find out ANY info about my order.
i have been patient and understanding of covid causing shipment delays for 2 weeks but my patience has run thin due to the negligence and failure to answer my questions from the order tracking page & the support team members who ive contacted.
also, because of the fact that i was hung up on im not even sure if she entered my refund order for NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY DOLLARS. it is crazy that i may need to wait for another 40 minutes JUST to get a damn refund at this point
