i wish people would stop being so judgy of Chinese American food just bc it's not "authentic" bc come on. it's still the product of the effort of Chinese Americans. it's still delicious in its own way. it has history longer than some countries. and it pioneered take out food

i think it's common enough knowledge by now that Chinese American food doesn't reflect cuisine in China. and it shouldn't matter that it doesn't because why be so pretentious about food lol
