Federal officers are using unmarked vehicles to nab people off the street.

Mark Pettibone was stopped a few blocks from the justice center walking with a friend. He said a minivan pulled up, a bunch of guys in camo tossed him in the van, pulled his beanie down to blindfold him, and drove off.

Conner O’Shea was with him but got away.

“I see guys in camo...Four or five of them pop out, open the door and it was just like, ‘Oh shit. I don't know who you are or what you want with us.’”

Officers searched Pettibone’s backpack and found nothing. He was put in a cell and read his rights. He was ultimately released with no record of his arrest and no idea if he’s been charged with anything.

Lawyers call it abduction and a 4th amendment violation.
