Wow. Astonishing reading those @RedAndWhite2017 notes. Seems to be pointing the finger of blame at fans and suggesting unrest is making any takeover difficult. Not buying that. Buyers will know #safc fans want a club and a regime to believe in. Give that, they’ll be on side
Also notes media are making the process difficult & there’s a couple of references to my article Sat. Suggestion that groups not contacted aren’t credible & people going to media not credible. Trouble is, they never returned calls to allow the group chance to prove credibility
And that’s the only reason I heard from this group. They were pissed off because they felt mugged off by not being contacted. I saw evidence they were credible and they had a significant financer. Club didn’t give them an opportunity to show that.
NF says he has tried to reach out to the group. That’s true. I passed his email on afyer he contacted me about the story. Trouble is, group are uncertain he genuinely wants to chat as opposed to just wanting to find out who they are.
Last I spoke to the group they were also uncertain on whether to go forward with #safc. They felt mugged off. ‘We want safc but we don’t need it. We shouldn’t have to do all the chasing. That is not good business’ was the exact quote. Already in talks with two other EFL clubs.
Last point from me tonight, the comment in the notes on @christoph_21 is disgusting. So unprofessional to tell a genuine #safc fan to ‘shut up’. Regardless of if you agree or disagree with Chris, he isn’t abusive. He is a fan who loves the club and is obviously concerned for it
