Squeezed through like six of those gaps since the last tweet.
Genuinely - they should use this engine to remake Cold Fear.

Saying that, quite like the direction they took with the BIG SPOILER MOMENT. Very good, very grim. Bottled it a little bit on some gore detail to push it over the edge but can't complain.
Let that be a warning to anycunt who picks up an acoustic guitar at a party. You'll get yours and you'll deserve it.
If the game started like this, it would've left some first impression. I mean, all the momentum from that sequence has completely gone and I'm wandering between places again, but hey, would've been a better foot forward. FOREward.
So, first few hours. Largely awful, self indulgent chatter between characters I don't care about in sequences so scripted I'm barely playing the thing. HOWEVER, once it actually started kicking into gear, although still heavily scripted, it was full on ND spectacle.
Things are looking up! It definitely feels better to play and they seem to have mastered that Nathan Drake "i'll move my hips because I walked near something" animation so it actually feels and looks natural now. Shooting feels better. Stealth is... well... it's rudimentary.
MORE of the horrendous gore and combat sequences, less of the melodrama, and we'll be alright.
