I’ve come to make an announcement:

No one is a bitchass motherfucker. However, there is something that I need to highlight in regards to post-sequel SpongeBob. You see, there are a lot of crazy criticisms thrown out against this era, and one big thing about them is: (1/6)
These criticisms are not only retarded, but on me they have the opposite effect, as they exemplify why I love post-sequel so much. In this thread I am going to be listing examples of this. If you want me to elaborate further on any of these, just ask and you shall receive. (2/6)
-People criticize post-sequel for having tons of exaggerated expressions. Well, you see... I love these expressions and I encourage the show to have them as it only adds more to the jokes rather than being the highlight of the jokes. I love how they really go all out. (3/6)
-People sometimes say post-sequel is overanimated, and to that I say BULLSHIT. Expressive, fluid, visually stunning animation should never be seen as a bad thing! What, do you want the show to look grotesque like season 6 or be stiff as a plank like season 7-8? Jeez... (4/6)
-People sometimes say post-sequel’s plots are too weird, and “don’t belong in the show”. Honestly, who cares about if it belongs or not? I still find the episodes funny, and on top of that I love when the show has really weird and out there episodes like Broken Alarm. (5/6)
-Lastly, people criticize post-sequel for “nostalgia pandering”. Honestly I think these callbacks really make the show’s universe feel special, and on top of that they can generally make more out of simple callbacks (for example, My Leg giving Fred more character). (6/6)
