How to play Spades!

All it takes is 4 players-two players on each team.

Before playing the game the two hearts and two diamonds are removed from the deck of cards.

One thing to remember, dealing and playing are all done to the left.
Order of the cards: From highest to lowest they are "Big" Joker, "Little" Joker, 2 of Spades, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 of clubs.

the first person to the left of the dealer is the first to play. this person can lead with anything EXCEPT for a spade. -
Players after must follow suit to what the first player does. IF the player is not able to follow suit, they can play any card.

A “book” that has a spade is won by the highest spade played. Now if there isn’t a spade that’s played then it’s won by the highest card of suit.
The winner of each book leads to the next.

After one book is played it will be scored in multiples of 10. when the cards are dealt, each team has to make a a prediction about how many books they think they can win.
The team that is not dealing places the first bid, and then the dealer's team for that hand places their bid. If either one of the teams score under their number of books they guessed, that amount of points is subtracted from the team's score.
Last but not least always to remember to never go back on anything! If the you have the suit, you must play on suit. If you get caught playing off suit your team will lose 3 books.

Grab 4 of you loved ones and play a good game of spades today!
