Owen Jones vs the YouGov poll.

It& #39;s clear the UK public have a very different interpretation of & #39;trans& #39; and & #39;trans rights& #39; to OJ. They distinguish between post op and non op, they want to see female sport protected, female spaces to remain penis free and a stringent GRC process.
This poll also shows that whether someone has had GRS (gender reassignment surgery, also referred to as "physical transition" by the YouGov poll write up I quoted above) is relevant to their attitudes. https://twitter.com/helenstaniland/status/1055128955894808577?s=20">https://twitter.com/helenstan...
As does this one. https://twitter.com/gretchen_bee/status/1283749907388665856?s=20">https://twitter.com/gretchen_...
I think we all know it would be virtually impossible, if not impossible, for policy to be created around whether someone has had surgery or not but this shows it& #39;s a massive issue for the public and data needs to be captured on this to get an accurate picture on UK attitudes.
In case you haven& #39;t seen it this is my thread with direct quotes from the YouGov analysis of their polling. I think it tells a very different picture to the one some media outlets and organisations would have you believe. https://twitter.com/GrRoary/status/1283775145891500032?s=20">https://twitter.com/GrRoary/s...
