Why Kim petras isn't problematic : a very important thread

First off there was a screenshot being spread around of kim liking a tweet saying that kesha lied which is false kim saw this tweet and responded proving that the "screenshot" was photo shopped and false.

There is a narrative being painted saying that kim petras has no obligation to work with dr.luke by contract and that if she does have a contract she signed after kesha came foward which is false i will provide receipts to show why this is false.

Kim did a interview with @Genius talking about why she hasn't moved on to diffrent producers besides dr.luke when asked she said "yes he signed me its like that" she signed with prescription songs and prescription songs is owned by dr.luke.

prescription songs has been credited on "dont start now" by dua lipa , dr.lukes publishing company writes alot of songs to this day kim isnt the only artist to work with prescription songs artist like lauv,dua lipa,katy perry have worked with prescription songs writers.

Kim has been working with aaron joseph for a long time since 2013 she she which is around the time she got in contact with dr.luke and signed her publishing contract with dr.luke kesha sued dr.luke in 2014 which would mean kim SIGNED WITH LUKE BEFORE THE ALLEGATIONS.

In kims interview with genius it was revealed that it is likely that luke dosent work closely on kims songs but because of the publishing contract she signed with luke that is likely why he is credited on her albums.

troye sivan announced that he was going to be having kim petras open for his tour , this was met with backlash and he later he put out a statement about having kim on tour. he said he talked with her and her heart is in the right place.

It sounds like she told troye about the publishsing contract because if she was working with luke willingly because she thought kesha lied troye would have more than likely kicked kim off of the tour and found a diffrent opening act but he didnt .

kim did an interview with variety talking about troye getting backlash for having her open for his tour she talks about how she thinks kesha is talented and she is amazing (there are people who think kim hates kesha which is false) despite her having tweets praising her .

Kim gave an apology saying that just because she had a positive experience with dr.luke dosent mean anyone is lying she can only speak on her behalf she cant speak for anyone else.

after kims statements she did a followup interview with nme clarifying what her statements meant and she also apologized to anyone she hurt because it was never her intention to do so.

There is a common theme when it comes to people who hate kim they all seem to want to blame kim for the actions of luke The trial involves kesha and luke not kim kesha and luke and i dont think its right to involve her in a situation she has nothing to do with.
