Failing to publicly condemn black supremacy and black anti-semitism reinforces the right-wing narrative that we are in favor of those things, and that Black Lives Matter is a vehicle for pushing both.

It helps our cause to draw a clear line.
Also, you can’t roll your eyes at conservatives and say “anti-racism isn’t about hating white people” and then later see a black person openly calling whites subhuman and defend it because that black person is the victim of systemic racism
Whites don’t suffer the systemic oppression blacks do. There is obviously a massive social imbalance at play here.

That doesn’t make it okay to be hateful if you’re black. You’re not just being inconsistent if you defend them, you’re hurting the anti-racist cause
The most essential message we need to push in favor of BLM is that pro-black does not mean anti-white.

That public realization is key to moving our culture left on this issue, towards greater racial equality.
