You don't have a degree in business, a degree in marketing, a degree in finance, a degree in digital media plus insight to kq's bank acct & creative team to make the assertations that ppl are making rn
there are literally hundreds of factors affecting this situation

Possible =/= Feasible
We all agree this shouldn't have happened in the first place. But I don't think ppl are looking at the entire picture. I want to talk about it from the BUSINESS aspect so let's look at the factors :
1. We do NOT know kq's financial situation
2. Most business have a fixed budget planned out for the years expenses they prob also have emergency funds
3. The situation pre-Covid I believe they would have changed everything
4. However the situation NOW is vastly different
5. Budget they could have used to fund the edits have likely been used to pay for the FREE CONTENTS they've been giving us
6. Funds they wouldve made from the tour are now in limbo
7. They now have expenses from postponing
8. The $$ from album sales at this point is NOT income anymore, it's going to recoup costs for album production & tour losses
9. Kq is NOT only atz
10. They have staff, other artists, trainees, producers, and other businesses they work with that must be paid
11. IF kq somehow manage to make edits, it will not be becus the had the $$, it will be becus they put themselves in the red to do it
12. Do we even know if kq creative team is ALL in-house? Or do they outsource to another company?
13. If so, Other companies do not exclusively work with atz. They have other clients, other schedules. Will they even be available for work on tight deadlines?
14. If they are available, what is their cost for a RUSH job?
15. Even if kq looks for other companies to do the work, ANY business are going to charge a premium for work that must be done quickly
16. Using an editing app for 10 min is simply not comparable to scale of this entire situation
17. Same In the case of mv, editing may be possible but not feasible
18. The rotobrush technique ppl are talking about takes TIME, costs $$, and DOES NOT WORK IN ALL SITUATIONS
19. Realistically, it would be better to reshoot the mv
20. Why don't they just do that then?? COST. it's easily $100k for mvs IF production team & location is even readily available
21. Why don't they just delay the cb then?? COST. Let me remind you kq has been providing us with free content for MONTHS while not having steady income
22. Contracts with broadcasters. This costs $$$$ and is set in schedules.
23. IF they break contract? Fees.
24. IF they reschedule cb to fix things. WHEN can it be reschedule?
25. Atz are not the only grp having cbs
26. Depending on cb schedule of other grps, atz might not be able to fit in broadcast schedules for MONTHS
27. So they may have TIME to fix things, but back to the original problem - $$$
28. they will have No steady income during this downtime putting them even more in the red
29. Refer to #8 again for the problem
30. Contracts with distributors
31. It's NOT a simple matter to recall and reprints tens of thousands of albums
32. This can negatively impact partnerships with vendors who may not want to work w them again
These are the main factors (many more we don't have insight to) I hope ppl can realize are all contributing to kqs decisions. I have no doubt that kq is CAPABLE of making the requested changes HOWEVER for these reasons the FEASIBILITY is a problem
I have no doubt if they had the money to do it, they would have. Again, if they DO find the $ (take out loans) to do it, that's putting them deeper in the red w/o a guaranteed plan for future income due to the uncertainty of the state of the world rn - tour is their main income
When will they be able to tour again? We don't know. Without income from tour, how can they fund next cb? Next mvs? Next albums? Next yt contents? Next anything? We don't know. Please look at the big picture before believing it's "easy" for kq to make decisions of this magnitude
I don't have insight into kq finances either but this is what we can REALISTICALLY infer based on what we do know. You don't have to agree with me I simply wish ppl look at the situation from different perspectives before jumping to conclusions
And yes I have a degree in art & digital media, I studied in business & my field of work is Marketing and graphic design for the past 10 years. This is my 2 cents on the BUSINESS aspect only
What you are asking kq to do, from a business standpoint, is putting them between a rock & a very hard place. They either:
1. Do nothing. Face the backlash. Retain income but lose fans. Will have $ to recoup & recover losses & fund next content
2. Scrape $$ together and fix everything. Gain new fans. Fans are happy but kq have no $$ to produce new content. No content = no income from fans. No steady income for unforeseeable future = possible bankruptcy
Again, this shouldn't have happened in the first place, but it did, and here we are. Everyone's feelings are valid, you don't have to support kq. I am just explaining the reality from the business side. is completely separate from my feelings on the rest of the matter
