I've started watching the Simpsons from the start because Disney + and my god season one Homer is very very depressed.

Also I love this entire scene.

It's also making me very aware of the sequence the episodes came out when they fist aired. I mean homer has a suicide attempt in episode 3, Lisa has a massive depressive episode in episode 6, then marge contemplates an affair in episode 9. Gonna have to talk bout this in therapy.
