I love him so much in Healer, swooned over him in the K2, but Empress Ki was the one that makes me so impressed with his acting skill. He can portrait a childish, uncool, crazy but pitiful emperor perfectly. Don’t forget that he was the youngest one among the cast #JiChangWook
I really hope after Healer, he gets a chance to show his range and acting skill again. Eventhough The K2 was popular, but I know deep down he wants to do something different. In the K2, he has so many regrets.
Even in an interview, he honestly admit that he didn’t expect that he has to do that much action scenes. It was so tiring you know... and he can’t get too much chance to show his acting skill.
He had fun in suspicious partner, it was really a project before he enlisted, so I’m glad that he had a good time. He pulled Noh Ji Wook role perfectly as always.
He once said that flaws in the character that make layers. When a role is already perfect, then there’s not much to show for the character development.
When they promote BR plainly as romcom that doesn’t have a great mainplot, but they put Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung as main lead and Lee Myoung Woo as PD, I know that they want to make something different...
Choi Dae Hyun in #BackstreetRookie is a perfect choice to show his versatility. He seems uncool, ordinary yet relatable. He’s not a typical male lead character at all. He crushed your imagination about a flirty cool hero main lead.
In the other hand, Dae Hyun gave you a true example about how your man should be in the real life. He is pure, funny, clumsy, lacks of many things, quite frustrating, but the most thing is, he treats his gf very well...
Althought he looks ordinary, but it’s such a difficult task to be CDH. We think we know him but we don’t. They don’t give us much of his backstory, we don’t know the reason why he quit his previous job then opened a convenience store,
We don’t know how he has YJ as his girlfriend, we don’t know much about his past and what makes him as he is now. He shows a lot of emotions in his face but he keeps his trouble for himself. We don’t know what he thinks or as much he knows.
An ordinary man character that makes you laughed so hard, but also pitiful and frustrating, that difficult character in the kdrama land was offered to Ji Chang Wook. He is proud of it and as his fans, so am I.
I can’t wait to see the character development. This show is really unpredictable, all of the story line predictions that I had on the drama was all wrong... They hope that the show gives the viewers laughters and smile before sleep but...
Here I am feeling frustrated at the plot line cause it didn’t go as we expected. But hey, that’s what life give us too... so please please please eps 9, give me a good surprise...
Time to sing Ariana Grande “Break up with your girlfriend... yeaa cause I’m bored...”
As I read many comments on naver, they praise KYJ and JCW acting skill a lot, how they bring this unpredictable drama to life, and their chemistry... wow... just wow...
It’s funny how people reacted to their age gap before the show was aired but now everyone already asked them to start the romance LOL
And I truly, appreciate KYJ fans that respect JCW as an actor and praise his acting skill. Me too, love KYJ as I’m watching this show... But that is an irony when people who’s neutral can see JCW ability, meanwhile they “so called” fans, criticize his choice...
Well, he is a down to earth person that doesn’t need more popularity awards (he has many anyway). So, hats off to Ji Chang Wook. I know you are one in a million...
