We need to talk about minors thinking they’re entitled to Adult spaces. I know we’ve been having this conversation already but we need to continue talking about it.

I’m not unaware enough to believe that minors don’t have easy access to adult spaces in this day and age. I’m pretty fucking sure conscientious and informed adults do everything in their power to limit who views their content. But that’s not going to stop minors from finding it.

So when they do find it—and wether they want to use the excuse that it’s a way to educate themselves—these kids need to understand NOT TO ENGAGE WITH THE ADULTS. Same as ADULTS NOT ENGAGING WITH THE MINORS. PERIOD.

I’ve seen this entire aging up characters discourse take off every so offen, and it’s FAIR that it’s uncomfortable. But just DONT ENGAGE WITH THOSE PEOPLE. Yes their followings might be huge, but their huge following is not going to affect you as long as you just NOT ENGAGE.

Find your safe space/people you trust in fandom and stay in it/with them.

This is literally coming from me having come across on my fyp a video of a 16/17 year old reacting to a Yagami Yato audio of Hawks, an ADULT CHARACTER, and becoming uncomfortable to the use of the nickname “kid”.

This person literally said “Oh I don’t like it when he calls me kid cause I’m a minor” BUT THEN PROCEEDED TO REACT TO THE AUDIO,,,,CHILD, PLEASE?????

P.S i cannot control the shit that pops up in my fyp when i continuously like and comment on anime TikTok and that’s the stuff that’s being shared around. I deadass choked like CHILDREN I BEG OF YOU STOP.

Anyways TLDR: Minors need to not engage with adults when it comes to NSFW content. If they’re determined enough to find the content they will, but just DO NOT ENGAGE/COMMUNICATE IN ADULT SPACES and then police those spaces when you become uncomfortable.
