coming in first is her performance of “if i die young” that she sang in memory of finn, effectively making me SOB like a baby

in second is her performance of “mine” that she sang to brittany right before they broke up... this one HURTS

in third is “songbird” which is honestly one of my favorite performances of the whole show

coming up in fourth is the trio performance of “shake it out” that they sang for coach beiste after finding out that her husband had been hitting her... i cried SO hard at this one

and lastly in fifth place is “landslide”, and even though she didn’t sing lead on this one, her emotions were so heartbreakingly relevant here i just had to add it.

before i end this thread i just want to say that naya deserved better. throughout her career she donated so much time and money to organizations like The Trevor Project, March of Dimes, GLAAD, Stand Up to Cancer, Get Schooled Foundation and Los Angeles Mission, and she was

constantly uplifting others and spreading kindness. Naya’s role on glee was so monumental for lgbtq+ teens all over the world because she portrayed a strong, independent, queer woman of color who had real, passionate emotions and she showed that it was okay to be who you are,
