...who do you think are still making the food you pat yourselves on the back for “picking up for delivery?” Who are working the bulk of these jobs while you mock those who say schools should open, saying “I don’t know who goes to Home Depot 6 hours a day, 5 days week...” (2/7)

...but then you don’t give two craps about the workers sitting at HEB (grocery), Home Depot, or the gas station all day... all so you can get your Arugala and Croissant while dropping by Starbucks to get a Latte before heading to ride your Peloton... Feel good do you?... (3/7)

...those of us who have been advocating for an open society have done so because there are real jobs, and real lives at stake... real businesses that employ people wrapped around their hopes and dreams... and because the negative consequences of isolation are very real... (4/7)

... in other words, we HAVE to be open. But be asked to get your hands dirty? Be asked for you to participate & engage in society so that a single mom serving you a sandwich can have their kid in school? You say “nah,” keep serving me, & then just keep on preaching... (5/7)

...Of course we can mitigate... use common sense and care for the vulnerable, and of course we can open schools and figure it out... with a healthy reminder that right now we have less than 3500 deaths in Texas (yes, growing) compared to 11,000 Flu... (6/7)

...deaths in 2018... and so far (blessedly) few dangers to children under 18 (2018 Flu death over 100 in Texas, 2 COVID so far). But the fact is, the danger for you if we fully open is FAR LESS than for those you are asking to serve you while you hide behind being closed. (7/7)
