By the reasoning of some among the SBC, international missions must now be rejected as being racist since we're currently exporting "Western Christianity." Right?
Were Judson and Carey exporting "Western Christianity" when they took the Gospel abroad to the pagans of their day?
To be clear, international missions must be done in a way that is sensitive to the languages, history, and cultural dynamics of a people group. It should not be focused on "Americanizing" any people.
It must utilize and equip indigenous believers, including pastors, among their own people.
But take the Gospel we must, to the ends of the earth, until the whole world hears!
