Of the two reports commissioned and promoted by the @royalsociety's president, Venki Ramakrishnan to force the government's #faceMask policy, one was not science (it was sociology) and was not peer reviewed, the other was produced by his sister, Lalita Ramakrishnan.
What a coincidence...
Here's the lead author of the other "research"...
Remember what Ramakrishnan told Marr, back in May...

‘what [scientists] don’t want is, when faced with very uncertain facts that are rapidly emerging… to be blamed or found culpable in hindsight when more evidence comes along and the evidence changes’ https://twitter.com/BBCPolitics/status/1264515598618447873
Look at the steering committee of The Royal's Society's DELVE initiative.

Brother Venki Ramakrishnan and sister...

Also, what's Nick Stern doing on it? He's an economist.
It's a pretty weird line up...

"Demis Hassabis CBE FRS FREng FRSA is a British artificial intelligence researcher, neuroscientist, video game designer, entrepreneur, and five times winner of the Pentamind board games championship. He is the CEO and co-founder of DeepMind."
Neil Lawrence is Professor of Machine Learning at the University of Cambridge.
Yee Whye is Professor of Statistical Machine Learning at the University of Oxford.
There is barely a panel of technocrats in the world without Nick Stern.

Nobody can explain why.
Why should @10DowningStreet take any notice of this obvious questionable -- and arguably corrupt -- non-science?
It's nepotism. It's not science. It's not even peer reviewed. They want to be able to tell government what to do. And then they don't want to be held accountable for it.

They really think of themselves as an aristocracy.

But they are a mediocracy.
