Thank you @C2ES_org, we were happy to join the webinar “Moving Forward with #CarbonPricing”: http://wrld.bg/PWiJ30qYP1d

Carbon pricing initiatives continue to rise around the world, but more ambition is needed. #PriceOnCarbon https://twitter.com/C2ES_org/status/1283778416307658754
As of 2019, there are now 61 #PriceOnCarbon initiatives in place or scheduled for implementation - 31 ETSs and 30 carbon taxes.
There are more than 14,500 registered crediting projects to date, generating almost 4 billion tCO2e of cumulative carbon credits.
#PriceOnCarbon initiatives raised US$45billion revenues in 2019. These revenues can be used to eliminate pollution, reduce taxes, and drive new investments in a clean economy.
Carbon pricing initiatives covered 22% of global GHG emissions. To fulfill the Paris Agreement, these programs must expand and strengthen.
Companies are using an internal #PriceOnCarbon to help them drive low carbon investment, drive energy efficiency and change internal behavior.
Despite carbon prices increasing in many jurisdictions, they remain substantially low, with almost half of the covered emissions priced at less than US$10/tCO2e.
