The ethnic cleansing of Haitians in DR isn’t that different then the White supremacist tactics in America. DR is honestly a step away from saying they want to build a wall to keep Haitians out it’s plausible enough with their recent government policies

After the Haitian revolution, the colonizers needed more laborers to work on the more lucrative and fertile land in DR so grabbed up some Haitians and migrated them west on the island. Of course are populations are intertwined these are the facts and history of our land

Haitians aren’t the ones denouncing their black skin. Haitians weren’t the ones marching in solidarity with the NYPD in Dyckman. Promise you no Haitians checking “White” on ethnicity box

From my experience as a Haitian and my interactions with my close Dominicans friends we are both incredibly proud of our heritages

No one would ever tell you not to love your people, but there’s a HUGE difference between being prideful and thinking you’re better than others

The influence of France, Spain and the United States have played a huge presence on the island for THEIR own interests and economic gain and if we don’t admit the truth that Haiti never got any support because the world HATES our blackness and would rather see us suffer
