immediately and ran as fast as he could, for the sole purpose of avoiding wwx. when jc realized that they got away, he finally looked up to the man he grabbed and wow he's very tall (and v handsome) and jc said sorry immediately but the tall man in blue just smiled at him

said it was okay, and introduced himself as lan xichen.

jc was first flustered by the smile, before getting confused because his moot's name is lan xichen??? what??? then why is his dn huaisang???

but he saw a keychain of zewu-jun, the character they like on his bag,

and his doubts went away. plus the man was smiling at him (and he's beautiful wtf?!) even when he's looking constipated and frowning.

he introduced himself again and pointed at they keychain and went on a rant about how he liked the character and he didn't notice that they

were walking together already, side by side. sometimes jc glances at him and lxc is still smiling at him as if asking him to go on. as the minutes passed by, jc realized that he's having fun with someone who isn't wwx and that's kinda rare so when they passes by a stall

of spicy food, jc immediately bought two for the both of them. lxc thanked him and it was so sincere that jc looked away, sputtering that it wasn't a big deal. lxc smiled at that, and told him, "you're beautiful."

jc was like stunned before shouting "BUT NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS YOU"

they're eyes both widen at that and many people looked over them then bc jc just shouted THAT. ppl started to coo when they both turned away, red faced.

they spent the day like that though, walking, talking, jc whining about his brother, lxc smiling at him and being beautiful

and complimenting jc about his hair and he would laugh when jc flushed, shouting at him, cursing under his breath, which lxc didn't mind at all.

when the day is almost over and they need to part ways, lxc started to fidget (it wasn't obvious tho jc was just really staring)

jc was like, "so lxc, i really enjoyed today and it was nice to finally, uhh, meet you."

lxc opened his mouth, then closed it, then opened again, "jc, the truth is..."

"Hm?"

lxc stared at him for a few seconds before finally saying, "i am not your online friend."

jc was like, "wtf? what?!"

lxc inhaled slowly, looked into jc's eyes that made his breath stutter

"Because you grabbed my hand, and you looked beautiful when you ran, and you started talking about this series you were so passionate about, and you were beautiful. I'm only a man."

jc went quiet at that. he was too stunned to even react but when he did all he can say is, "fuck"

"fuck, you're the most beautiful person I've ever met wtf are u saying, lxc."

lxc smiled that fond smile of his, jc has no idea how he knows that, he just do.

"kiss me?" jc can't help but ask. a beautiful man was going on and on about how he looked the least he can do is kiss!

lxc didn't even hesitate and kissed him, softly, carefully, with a hint of smile, as if he wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here. and jc thinks it's so funny to have this with a stranger, a beautiful stranger, a very very beautiful stranger.

wwx would probably laugh at him. he didn't care right now tho. that's a problem for future jc. right now he's gonna kiss this man!

and when they parted, lxc still has that soft smile of his. but really, they needed to say goodbye because it's late and jyl would be worried

and wwx the idiot has been calling him nonstop for fifteen minute straight now and ugh wwx is ruining his life.

lxc seemed to notice his dilemma so he stood straight and serene again, like he wasn't just making out with a stranger on the street.

"so, i need to.."

"oh, okay."

"yes, so..."

"my direction is here." lxc said with a smile.

jc nodded and turned away, started walking, but something in his gut was telling him that he shouldn't let whatever this is, get away. this is insane. this doesn't make any sense wtf jc! jc, ur not wwx, stop!

jc did stop. he stopped walking, turned away as fast as he could from where he left lxc. he was prepared to shout, but as soon as he turned, lxc is already walking towards his direction.

"actually, maybe, you can be my online friend, too." jc says as soon as lxc was beside him

lxc stared at him for a second before showing a beautiful smile. fuck.

"i'd like that."

as soon lxc agreed, jc searched his bag for a pen, grabbed lxc's hand and wrote his contacts on it. he should've just used his phone, tbh, but he turned it off bc wwx is annoying

when it was lxc's turn to write his info on jc's arm, his phone rung and he immediately answered it. jc looked, curious, but stayed quiet. when lxc was done with the call, he gave jc's lips another peck before telling him he really needs to go now.

"i'll contact you." he said.

they parted ways like that. jc wanted to scream as soon as he was in the comforts of his room.

he just met the most beautiful man in the world! he just kissed the most beautiful man in the world! the most beautiful man in the world is going to contact him!

but the most beautiful man in the world didn't contact him, even as days went by. he tried not to think about it and just patiently wait. he almost thought it didn't happen, but lxc's keychain that he somehow dropped in his bag is still there.

weeks passed. months. nothing.

lan xichen didn't contact him. jiang cheng went on his days like it didn't happen. he was angry though, he felt played. he decided then, that he doesn't want to see his face again.

they didn't see each other again.

the keychain stayed. lan xichen didn't.
