No Arab or Desi should ever really complain about racism against them. The fact that *some* white people don’t like you is really the least of your problems. For 200 years, their forefather travelled half way across the world to kill you and take your land.
In fact, the only reason they kept you alive in places like Egypt, Sudan, and India is so you could work for them. If they couldn't control you, they just wiped you out, like the Native Americans or the Aboriginals of Australia.
The only demographic that has anything to say is the African American, whose ancestors were dragged by force into an unfair fight. But the Arab and the Desi…
...despite 200 years of brutal, bloody colonization, you walked with your own two feet into the nations of men who rather see you dead for your land and resources. Then, as you eat their food, it dawns on you: “Oh…I don’t think they like us.” Are you dense??
The only reason they even let you in is so you can toil and fund their failing social security programs. Even immigration was just another way to fleece you! They didn’t let you in because they liked you.
Right up to and including the the Iraq War, the Western democratically elected governments could not make it any more clear how they feel about you and your people. To be fair, when was this fairy tale equality ever advertised by them?
Now that we’re 2 & 3 generations into this naivete, what to do? Well, what I’m *not* doing is pretend equality is some self-evident truth then act surprised when I see tribalism: “All the institutions in white countries are systemically geared to white men.” Sherlock, wake up!
You carve your own space by will and persistence, not whining. That means live your deen as it is. Own land. Make money. I hope people like it. Why be enemies, when we can be friends? However, if someone doesn't like it, tough luck. Sorry. Come change it; give it your best shot.
Allah says, “We made from them leaders guiding to Our will when they persevered and had absolute certainty” (32:24 Sajda). They persevered in living by the Sharia and not expecting help from creation.
