It turns out that having good contacts in the maritime industry comes in handy when the secret husband of Ghislaine Maxwell is... a shipping entrepreneur.
He talks about himself and his business on this podcast, from this month. Lots to get at here: https://blueeconomypodcast.buzzsprout.com/856762/3763196-cargometrics-ceo-scott-borgerson-on-digitizing-the-shipping-industry
It's also interesting to note that he has been involved with the Council on Foreign Relations.
In August 2019, Borgerson denied that Maxwell was staying at one of his homes, but admitted that he knew her.
Here's Borgerson -- pre-beard -- in 2011, when he was representing the Council on Foreign Relations
And here's Borgerson talking in 2009 -- around the time when he may have first met Maxwell. The video I'm linking here has (at the time that I'm linking it) just 46 views:
Basically, if you're a producer or editor looking for details on the 'mystery' husband of Ghislaine Maxwell today, you should probably speak to me.

However, I'll happily just break stuff myself. x
Here's a fun thing for conspiracy theorists:

A current Senior Product Manager at Wayfair (subject of a big conspiracy theory this week) was... previously at Cargometrics, the startup at which Ghislaine Maxwell's ex-boyfriend/husband is... founder and CEO, Cargometrics.
Evidence for the previous tweet's assertion:
Cargometrics is funded in part by The Fletcher School at Tuft's, which many believe to have strong CIA connections. So... interesting. Arturo Ramos -- now at Wayfair, formerly at CargoMetrics -- says in this video that Fletcher funded CargoMetrics
Here's Scott Borgeson interviewing the President of Iceland in 2013, while CEO of Cargometrics, but still associated to the Council on Foreign Relations
... and, here he is talking about national security risks in the Arctic
... and here talking about the geopolitics of the Arctic with a former under-secretary at the State Department
Most of CargoMetrics' clients are hedge funds and business intelligence suppliers. An undeclared other client is... the CIA, according to sources I've spoken to. That makes sense: Data on shipping is vital to governments and to state security. All governments want it.
But those connections -- Council on Foreign Relations, CIA, State Dept -- may well have come in very handy if Borgeson was trying to help his secret wife keep off the radar of the FBI.
CargoMetrics is backed by Blackstone, the hedge fund, which also owns a significant stake in Engineer's Gate, the hedge fund which has significant connections to... Jeffrey Epstein. The rot gets around.
Glenn Dubin, the founder of Engineer's Gate, was a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, and his wife Eva was one of Epstein's ex-girlfriends. They remained friends even after Epstein's conviction. They also made a lot of money with each other.
