My sister gave birth at Mowbray Maternity & it cost her ZERO. She was initially a patient at a private clinic, cost R10 000, due to labor complications she had to be moved. She was reimbursed. For a c-section but she got transferred and the nurses at Mowbray said it wasn't necessary and my sister had a natural delivery, no meds (cuz she dilated too fast) and with zero complications. Mom and baby were healthy and were home within 2 days.
