I apologize to all my friends and mutuals whose stories I have not read.
I realized I abandon things when there's no deadline for them. I can make cosplays for a convention in time. I can write stories for a set publishing date. I can draw fanart for projects and theme weeks.

I can however not finish things over a longer period of time when there's no pressure to it. When there's a long fanfic I have to read it in one go - if I set it aside to continue later, it is unlikely I come back to it. I do subscribe to multi-chapter stories, but I don't

check on them later. If it is for my own enjoyment, I can not keep up.

Many of the people I got to know, especially in the past few months, deserve a better friend than me. I want to support you, I do love you. I know that a comment under your story can make your day.

But I find myself unreliable to give you the support you deserve. It haunts me to see you publishing follow-up chapters and to be unable to support you. I apologize for that. You probably don't know how much you mean to me, because I'm not capable to communicate my affection.

I hope this thread helps a little with that. Maybe one day I can be a better friend than that.
