So in this JP interview Yoshida says (via poor Google translation) "If you like the story of Shadowbringers, please play with the preparation that only the main story will be done on the first day."

He also says it has the most recorded voice dialogue of any patch thus far.
Yoshida also mentions that the Bozja content will be an "evolved" version of Eureka, and mentions that the complaints of people who said Eureka was too difficult to do alone have been taken under consideration.
The translation is a bit rough but there may also be one-on-one conflicts against enemy commanders in Bozja as well, along with a few new types of event battles.

Gear enhancement is different from Eureka, being something you start doing almost immediately, apparently.
The system used for the umbrellas is apparently going to be expanded into something called "Fashion Items," and Yoshi P mentions wanting to walk around with a stuffed animal as an example.
Interview wraps up with a thank-you from him to the players, and a mention that he hopes to return to a regular patch schedule at some point soon.

I'll go back and post a bit of the stuff he mentions about NieR but it's not really my area of interest as much.
He mentions that the new alliance raid will be more like FFXIV in NieR, rather than NieR in FFXIV, how 5.1 was, with a focus put on more action while still remaining how XIV is. Not sure what that entails but I hope it leads to something more interesting than Copied Factory.
The gear drops for Puppet's Bunker are designed by the FFXIV team this time, since they got most of the NieR stuff that they thought people really wanted out in 5.1. It's still being done under the supervision of the NieR team, though.
As for if we can walk around and explore the instance like we could after clearing Copied Factory in 5.1, Yoshi P says he isn't going to say one way or another.

Says there's a freshness about the raid, though, since there's design help from "two guest creators."
Also mentions that the focus of the Eden raids going forward is going to be on Ryne's story, which was already to be expected, but gets confirmed here.

This means Thancred and Urianger won't be involved with the last third of the Eden stuff, I guess.
Also, he says since the development environment is now properly set up that we shouldn't expect any delays of this length with patches going forward, putting them at about 3.5 months with maybe an extra week or so of delay.
For you Zenos freaks, Yoshi P says he won't be a key part of 5.3, but that doesn't mean he won't appear. He also mentions that in a sense, Zenos inherits the blood of the original Ascians, and if you look at it in that perspective there's some interesting stuff.
Yoshi P complements Matsuno's work and says that if you enjoy his stuff to "please enjoy the flood of words in every corner" with regards to the Bozja side content.
Apparently the ARR flying has been prepared over a long period of time and was decided to be released at 5.3 because it'd be too much work to put out at the same time as an expansion.

Obviously the maps have seen some changes to accommodate flying in ARR zones.
This thread's dragging and I'm jumping around so I'll wrap it up here.

Please note that I'm not fluent in JP and anything I post here is pulled from Google Translate and a couple years of studying Japanese, so don't treat anything as entirely canon and come blame me if it's not.
There's a lot more in the article but this was a pretty comprehensive collection of the stuff I didn't have to make any reaches to translate. A lot in there is interesting but would basically just be speculation from me as to how I put it into English.
BTW if there's anything I got wrong in this thread please let me know (politely) in the replies.
