It seems people didn`t like that I made #Voltron winner against #SheRa
And now I will explain as objectively as I can, why I think, that She-ra is not a good show. Especially when you compare it to Voltron (s1-s6)
I will try to be short and explain, why Voltron wins for me

1) Characters

What Voltron had (to s6): good relatable SMART characters. Seriosly, they all had their stories, they grow and became real family on screen, and we could see character developments. They also all were badass in their own way.

Put aside ship wars (fuck those actually), Voltron characters were great, smart and alive. There was sense in their actions, they would go from A to B to achieve something thet matters for them and for plot, and therefore it mattered for us.

What do I see in She-ra? Nothing impressive really.
Characters are just stupid, I will fight you for this. They are stupid, sometimes they are really annoying, sometimes they are also mean to each other and to people who care about them. They being toxic A LOT.

They fight with each other instead of just talk about how they feel - like Glimmer with her mother, or like when they just assume tech princess betray them, or Adora and Catra who didn`t go with her friend and instead go back to people who abuse her her entire life just because??

and then she accused Adora in her own desisions - men, that whole thing is so messed up, I have too many examples to write them all here. They lie to each other when it matters, and it looks really dumb (like when they lost ship in the desert and lie Glimmer about it)

They are not an example for good relationships, despite how often they will tell you on screen that they are "beeest frieeends squaaad". Bleh gods its cringy. She-ra is literally a monument of unhealthy relationships and toxicity.

2) Worldbuilding
Voltron: literally the Universe. Great amount of planets, forms of lifes, cultures, and we get to now some of them really deep - Altean culture, Galra culture, planet-sized creatures in space who provide crystals, planet where tech and plants are intervined,

and so so much more. We get to see destructions of planets and worlds, and we tryed to save them with characters. And those worlds were inhabited. See where I am going here?

She-Ra: One planet. Okay. But where is the peoples? For 3 (or 4?) seasons we stuck on this planet. Did we get to know this world? Nope. We saw different locations, thats true. In sea kingdom there was one guard and mermaid-princess. In Plants kingdom there were like 20 citisens?

Wow. Really impressive /sarcasm/
Thats without saying that Bright moon and Horde are apparently neighbors and being really lazy in trying to protect or conquer. BTW why Horde didn`t just like... fly above trees to get to Bright Moon?

This whole world looks just small, uninhabited and poor.

3) Plot
Voltron: we need to unite Voltron and defeat the great cosmic empire to stop them from conquering the entire universe including our own planet. So we are planning and acting to do so and also survive + some personal motives (to find dad and brother)

She-Ra: Horde is trying to conquer the planet... for really long time... but we didnt see it? And now when She-ra is here we can unite and stop them? Wait what was stopping them from uniting before if they were all dumed without she-ra and all alone?

Oh and also there are some super-stones and primal tech, oh and we actually in a pocket dimention because??? and there are our own galra empire too in s4 lol.
They like
Spend entire episod playing DnD to capture some fortress, and then we never hear about it again.

Thats the problem. Noone seems to know what they are doing and for what. They throwing parties when its war

Except maybe Entrapta, she just studying dangerous stuff because she interested lol And then she just helping Horde who want to destroy the planet, what a smart ass.

4) Visual
Im not gonna say much, but Voltron obviosly has better visual and music component. She-ra`s visual looks poor and cheap. There is no way around it.
Of course, you all free to deny this 4 components of a good show.
I dont know for sure why people love She-ra so much.

I have theories,like trending,representation and all this stuff, but these, if they`re true for she-ra, doesn`t make the show good. And I also dont dislike the show because of them, only because show itself looks weak, stupid and cheep - because of reasons I write in this thread.

You also don`t need to hate me because of my opinion. enjoy your show. But for me Voltron (s1-s6) is better that She-ra. The Dragon Prince, Kipo, Star and other good shows are better then She-ra. Because of resons I write above.
