I am a Zimbabwean with a SA ID. Through my dad’s special skills work permit for electrical engineering, I applied in 2013 and only received it in beginning of 2018. Only God knows why it took this long. I just wanna addresse some issues i find with #SAHomeAffairsCorruption
... Home affairs. At any South boarder especially the Zim-Sa. A person can buy days at the border post. A max of 3 weeks is set for someone visiting but you can end up even getting 3 months buy paying only R300. If your days are finished whilst in SA, you can send your passport
... with a bus or truck driver and you can pay a mere R500 or less for SAn officials to certify that you left the country at the right time and the driver then crosses with the passport. As they are coming back to SA, they put more days for the person. Its as easy as that

...SA boarder can make R3k from just one bus they have served. Imagine how many busses they can serve per shift. But i am not about that life of painting every official with the same stick. Some officials are strong and are known not to take bribes.
