I have 3 igbo names (first middle and surname) the only citizenship I possess is Nigerian and I’m not doing badly..

to counter what you people like to believe about our names and citizenship being stumbling blocks to your progress outside Nigeria!

Changing my name and adopting a western one won’t do anything for my success..

Changing my citizenship would definitely better my chances, but that’s not because being nigerian is negative, rather because countries cater to their citizens first!

And nope Hushpuppi and his ilk have done not very much to affect your chances at anything (except you are in the financial industry: this will result in more checks)
Die that narrative that being nigerian limits you (well you go chop bants).. the only limit is YOURSELF!

Of course this thread is only valid in countries that take human rights and fairness seriously, countries that have it engrained in their tenets!
