32 years... much has changed! (But some things haven’t!)

Reflecting on all the people I’ve met and had the privilege to treat. I still remember many of the patients I looked after as a brand new house officer in 1988.

Tho no one says any more “you’re too young to be a Dr!”
One thing that hasn’t changed is the lovely @galleonskip by my side... thank you for all the support, through the good times and the more challenging bits!
Thank you too to my parents who supported me. From the ten year old who decided she wanted to be a doctor, through to graduation and beyond.
And to my grandparents, three of whom were still going strong when I graduated.

Each one of them an inspiration, in different ways, and perhaps one of the reasons behind my career choice to be a geriatrician.

Thank you, Granny, Grandpa and Grandma!
