My Tita just called an hour ago and said that people were looking for me at their house, asking if I've been to Manila recently because they said "I might be a PUI". I do not live there. That was not my home address.

[A thread]
Facts of the matter:
- I was in Manila for 2 weeks & flew back to Bacolod on March 4. It has been 4 months since then.
- The LGU did not have any contact tracing efforts then, & if they did, it was not communicated. There were no instructions to report ourselves as PUMs.
- March 4: The airline didn't have any extra measures, masks, alcohol, nor temperature checks at the gates and inside the plane. Nobody knew what to do then as our govt hadn't taken things seriously. The nationwide lockdown officially started on March 15.
- All my IDs and documents have the same address. Our home is NOT even near the Barangay where my Tita lives.
- I am not a voter in their Barangay.
- If they traced my flight details from the airline, all would lead to my actual home address and not my Tita's house.
- They would have also had my contact number, email address, and emergency contact if they needed it.
- They referred to me by my Facebook name, Krishna Ariola. It is also the name I use in all public engagements, but it is not my full name in official IDs and documents.
Given the facts stated above, the brgy officials who were looking for me obviously did not go through proper and legal channels for their supposed "contact tracing" efforts. I also do not understand why their brgy would look for me when I am not even a resident in the area.
The brgy officials might have only received orders from somewhere else. We can only assume where the orders might be from. Remember the photos the policemen keep taking during mobilizations?

Sharing it here so everyone can take precautions. I think we all know what this implies.
Stay safe and take extra security measures. Innovate ways to express dissent and resistance, but do not be silent. That is what they want.

Adding these photos to the thread!!!

Just a few photos of our multiple encounters with uniformed policemen the past month alone. We've been intimidated & threatened thrice out of our 4 mobilizations against the Terror Law.

I'm in white. The one in pink is my sister.
More photos of our friends being openly photographed and surveilled by the police during a peaceful, silent protest. These happened on multiple dates, in multiple locations in Bacolod.
