I'M FREAKING OUT.

So I knew of ONE sea slug (nudibranch) that smelled good—like watermelon. I've smelled it & it's lovely. But just learned one SMELLS LIKE LEMON & others like SANDALWOOD!

DO THEY ALL SMELL?! ARE THERE MORE FLAVORS?!

IS THIS A THING??

Really, #TeamNudi, I need to know. DO you smell them all?! Is this an area of research? WHERE DO I SIGN UP??
Shut it all down. Just stop marine biology. This is now the ONLY THING.
I am honestly enraged I am just learning this now. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS WOULD HAVE CHANGED PARTIES?! This would be me at every party I was ever invited to. EVER. I hope the future is prepared I can't even.
(also nudibranchs are very soft and fragile. Pls don't pick up and smell w/o proper guidance and care because they're lovely and must be protected at all cost)
Ok, I'm going to bed because there is no topping this. This is the coolest thing I've learned in ages. I'm legit crying a tiny bit. Nature is amazing. There is so much going on in the world right now, but really, this is just magical. Good night. May the smelly slugs be with you.
