The "plain clothes" officers were dressed exactly like the triad gangs who committed the terrorist attack on commuters.

Police took 39 minutes to respond to the attack. Earlier we found out they watched the whole thing on CCTV, now we know they had officers on site all along. https://twitter.com/rthk_enews/status/1283560995391107073
This is, AT BEST, a massive failure and gross negligence. At worst, it is active collusion and involvement in the attack.

This is why one of the Five Demands is for an independent inquiry into the police because they are complicit in hundreds of acts of brutality including this.
They are only admitting this now thanks to incredible work by journalists to expose the truth. And this after the same network was forced to scrap a 30 year satirical program because it hurt the cops' feelings.
We need to find out how much they knew, when they knew it, and how involved they were at every level. It's not unreasonable to expect to have an inquiry into an act that saw dozens of gang members in white storm a station and attack people. Were the police negligent or complicit?
Maybe if the cops spent less time forcing through prosecutions for putting a sticker on a plain clothes officer's back (3 weeks jail), or a prosecution for posessing a laser pointer despite literally not being in posession of a laser pointer (3 months jail).
Because if you have time to push through petty bullshit like that, you've got time to pick up actual terrorists who didn't even cover their faces as they battered a whole station and train full of people.

Not arresting them makes a stronger case for complicit than negligent tbh.
Wow, what are the odds that the police officer turned up wearing the same outfit as the triad gangs assembling for a terrorist attack? https://twitter.com/hongkongfp/status/1283625237670764545?s=21 https://twitter.com/hongkongfp/status/1283625237670764545
