Eat at hawker stalls instead of cooking at home. When you cook at home, the money goes to big corporations like Sheng Siong and NTUC that can take the hit. When you eat out, your money goes to small, vulnerable businesses.

These small locally owned business owners need your business and your money to survive this recession. Shifting consumption habits will come at little to no cost to the majority of us in society, while possibly helping out a huge group of people who need our help.
