P3 is very much a product of its time. Remaking it into a Persona 5 shaped game would:
- completely reshape most things about it
- take as much dev time as a new Persona game

No, you can't just use the models from P3D. The fuck, are you just going to plop these models down in an environment that looks like this?

You'd need to remodel the whole game. Character models for SEES would be a tiny, tiny fraction of that.

There isn't a definitive version? You can fix that without a remake you dummy, all FES "needs" is a HD facelift and some QoL from P3P. No, you can't just import FeMC into FES.

And really, there not being a 100% definitive version due to some QoL improvements is that big of a deal that you want to waste years of dev time on a remake instead of on a new game?

The story has been told well. Doing all that just to retell it but prettier makes no sense.

Frankly, asking for P3RE is almost offensive when most of SMT has been left to die without so much as a western port. When half of Persona isn't even mentioned by Atlus nowadays.

Remake games that are unplayable by today's standards, not games from 2006.
